The United Way of the Mark Twain Area Board of Directors announced the retirement of Frank Di Tillo as Executive Director.

A Search Committee has been established under the direction of Board President Joel Dant and a proposed timeline has been approved. I would prefer to have the new Executive Director in place prior to beginning the United Way’s allocation process. The allocation process is perhaps the best way to become familiar with the United Way’s partner agencies, observe the services they provide, share their passion.

“It has been an honor and a great pleasure to serve as the executive director of the United Way of the Mark Twain Area,” Frank Di Tillo commented. “The opportunity to work with the dedicated professionals and volunteers in the five counties of Ralls, Monroe, Shelby, Lewis and Marion in Northeast Missouri has been incredible. Together we have touched the lives of 1 in 3 people in our community. The experience warms the heart; it is remarkable in its impact.”

Joel Dant said, “We look forward to continuing the United Way’s work of strengthening our community by continuing our mission of “Increasing the Capacity for People to Care for One Another.”
