Allocation Committee Chair Maria Mundle addresses the United Way of the Mark Twain Area Allocation Committee April 25, 2017. The work by the Allocation Committee is one of the most important parts of the of the United Way effort in North East Missouri. Beginning with an agency meeting in February, the allocation process included a site visit to all 25 agencies applying to the United Way for funding, and a series of meetings in April where the committee members, working as teams, met at length with every agency to review successes, challenges and budgets.
On April 25th, all volunteers met at the Hannibal Board of Education Board Room and made the difficult funding decisions for recommendation to the United Way Board. On behalf of the agencies served by the United Way and the 1 in 3 people of North East Missouri impacted by those agencies, Thank You to those volunteers for sharing your time and talents.
